Holistic Therapies for health, happiness and well being

Health Kinesiology

Health Kinesiology (HK) is a unique system that asks your body via gentle muscle testing what it needs to maintain it's balance and well being.

Once issues have been identified various techniques are used to bring the body back into balance and harmony.

Some common forms of energy work can include the use of magnets, homeopathic remedies, flower essences, essential oils or just thinking a specific word or phrase whilst acupuncture points are held. No two sessions are ever the same and even though two people may have similar concerns the sessions would be completely different as HK treats the person as a unique individual.

HK is a truly holistic therapy addressing all levels of the person. It does not focus on specific symptoms, but works to correct imbalances throughout the body. It is very gentle and non-invasive making it suitable for all ages.

What does an HK Session Involve?

Each session last approximately 1 hour, you will be asked to lie down on a couch fully clothed and a suitable muscle will be selected (usually an arm) to conduct the gentle muscle testing. If lying down is uncomfortable for you the testing can be conducted sitting up. Most people find it very relaxing.

What can HK do for me?

HK has benefited many people with a variety of concerns. By using HK, a practitioner can acess your body's inner wisdom to find out exactly what you need to help you to regain and maintain the balance of your BioEnergy, allowing you to feel a sense of natural well being.

What does a HK Session involve?

A session of HK lasts approximately 1 hour. You will be asked to lie on a couch, fully clothed and a suitable muscle (usually an arm) will be identified to use for the testing.

Gentle pressure will be exerted on the muscle to ascertain the level of resistance. If the muscle gives way this is intepreted as a "No" response and if it remains strong this is intepreted as a "Yes" response.

Once a muscle has been identiifed a series of questions will be asked, and the body's answers interpreted to identify stresses to the body.

If you find lying down uncomfortable the procedure can be completed in a sitting position.
